Brooxes.com is a retirement business, operated out of my home as a sole proprietorship by me, Brooks G. Leffler. I am solely responsible for the content of this website and all policies under which it operates.
I have no direct accounts with credit card companies. All payment must be made via PayPal, or by US check, money order, or Western Union transfer. No bank transfers, no Canadian cheques; sorry.
If you do not wish to use PayPal, please email me for off-line ordering instructions.
Please be sure that PayPal has your correct shipping address, or that you give me an alternative destination in a separate email or in the “Send Seller a Message” box on PayPal's checkout form.
Shipping costs are based on flat rates, and it's an imperfect system. I try to price shipping for a median distance, and tweak costs frequently with an aim to keep them fair and equitable.
My preferred shipper is the US Postal Service, because they are as fast or faster than the more expensive services and much more convenient for me. I will use Priority Mail in most cases, and will send tracking information, if available, to you by email. Priority Mail will deliver parcels to almost anywhere in the contiguous states within three days.
Shipments to Canada will go by insured Priority Mail International because brokerage fees are much lower than with UPS. Insurance to Mexico may require that a shipment be sent by Express Mail International.
Please Note: I am too old for last-minute pressures not of my own making, so I must refuse orders requiring overnight delivery in the USA, and I will likewise not take orders requiring me to provide expedited delivery outside the USA.
RETURNS, EXCHANGES, & REFUNDS
I want you to be happy with your purchase. I urge you to read product descriptions carefully and ask questions if you don't understand.
If an item is defective, I will replace or refund it.
If you change your mind before the order is shipped, it is easiest for me to refund an incorrect order and have you place a new one rather than hassle with adjusting payment amounts.
If a received item isn't what you expected, I'll give a full refund (less shipping) provided you return the merchandise in new, resalable condition.
In all cases, please notify me of your concern by email before taking any action.
I do not collect financial data about you, and will not share any other information about you without your express permission.
